Lifecolour

Genre: Alternative/ Rock

Hailing from Stoke-on-Trent, Lifecolour are beginning to make a name for themselves all over the world for their non-conforming approach to creativity. With their unmistakable guitar work, captivating live sets, tied together with heartfelt lyrics; they fuse together effortlessly to produce a sound that is monumentally bigger than the 4 of them.

They started their career in 2008 by supporting UK artists such as Matt Redman, [Dweeb] and Verra Cruz. Since the release of their second EP ‘Time to be Free’ in 2009, the band have gone from strength to strength. They have since received UK radio airplay on both UCB and Cross Rhythms radio stations; leading to performances at major UK festivals like Spring Harvest, Ultimate Event, Big Church Day Out, Megalife and Greenbelt. Drawing influences from bands such as Switchfoot, Thrice and Brand New, Lifecolour have developed a raw, bold sound with a ‘no holds barred’ approach to writing music.

In 2011, Lifecolour partnered with OneHope for the UK and Ireland ‘OneHope Tour’, culminating with a mission trip to Albania. It was a real privilege for Lifecolour to work with the churches in Tirana and Durres, participating in their ministry with the children from the Romany community.

The band released their third, much anticipated EP "Where's Your Sting?" in September 2012. With comparisons made to Arctic Monkeys’ driven guitars, punchy choruses and elements of early Radiohead, Lifecolour packed up their van and headed to the States for the first time in September 2012; playing gigs in Chicago, St. Louis, South Dakota and Nashville.

"At a time when Christian music in the UK is going through big changes, Lifecolour are emerging as a torch bearer" Ken Reily, YFriday (co-writer of ‘Everlasting God’)
